need help! installing jdm non srs wheel, what to do with black SRS circular peice?

is that black circular piece with the SRS sticker on it needed for anything? it doesnt seem to unplug all the way (one of the harnesses) so do i cut it off?

are you talking about the cable reel?

You are probably referring to the cable reel

You remove it, you don't cut it.
