Default Question about my turbo's filter

This may be a dumb question, but I just installed my Blitz filter the other day, and was wondering if the filter will suck in all the heat from my turbo and manifold down below? Will this cause any problems? There is one other possibility of where I can place my filter, but, this seemed the most convenient.

i'd be concerned with the open wastegate pointed directly at that AC line...

that does nothing but suck in hot air...did you tap into the back of your block for that oil feed hope so...i would look around at "cheap" intakes and try to find a design that will slither through the radiator lines and what not. Good luck man...also get a dumptube on the w/g thats no good on ac lines

Actually, the WG isn't pointed directly at the AC. It may look that way from the pic, but, it points below it.

it would be wiser to route the air filter on the other side of the radiator hose.

and as far as a dumptube, just point it away from something important.

Well, I found a way to move the filter more to the left, so its not even over the turbo anymore.

How much are dumptube's?
