Default Finally got my block! Quick question!

This is my semi built d16z6 project. I recently got my block, bought from someone on the internet. It's recently been rebuilt with JE rings, OEM bearings. It has JE Pistons, AEM rods, and bored .20 over. My question is I want to get it toleranced and all the clearances checked. Does anyone have an idea as to how much this would cost? I really don't want to kill the motor a couple hours after I put it in so I'd like to see it done the right way. It's already been assembled im just not sure of his engine building skills. Anyways if someone could give me an estimate as to how much im looking at let me know. I'd appreciate it. Oh yea, im sure someone will ask. The rods are from AEM, from my understanding they produced rods a while ago but quit. They were actually manufactured by another company and stamped with AEM. They are suspose to be able to hold 26psi, how much horsepower that is I don't know. I couldn't find much information on it. Any help about the prices I'd appreciate, thanks
Matt

Well, In order to check the clearances the block will have to be disassembled, so that means that you are going to have to pay for reassembly.

My guess is that you are looking at anywhere from 3-5 hours of shop labor assuming that everything checks out ok.

that should take about 2 hours to check bearing clearances. which should cost around $100 to $200 bucks.
