I hear I noise it sounds like something is spinning roughly inside my tranny I think it could be the throw out\ release bearing and or pilot bearing, I got a clutch masters stage 3 clutch and pressure plate where can I get this how much do they cost, can it be a generic bearing, Pulling tranny's suck. when I push the clutch in most of the noise goes away and it makes a slight noes could that be my differential? My axles are brand new. Im just trying to give you guys a better possability for a better diagnosis.

Chances are it is your throwout bearing. My tranny was doing the same thing. Was it replaced when you last replaced your clutch? I just had mine swapped out and the noise went away....but now its making a noise when the clutch is not engaged..arg! good luck w/ the tranny! Rick

 

It could be the bearing in the tranny casing. They have a tendecy to go out, especially with B-series transmissions. Usually when they go out, it sounds like something is vibrating or kind of squeeling while driving.

 

If its squealing its most likely the throwout bearing. If it grumbles its the imput bearing. Rick
