anyone ever heard of a b16 using 84mm pistons?

GE sleeves. Let them know to bore it from 81.5 mm to 84mm. For about $1000 you'll have yourself a strong *** B20.

sleeved yes, it will put it just under 1.8l. If your gonna spend that kind of money, go b18c or lsvtec. gets you very close to 2.0l if not past. helps with the one thing that civics lack, torque.

Heh... same thing a customer of ours did, only he's still using the B16A block and resleeved it to 85mm. He's using 12.4:1 cr pistons and says he loves it. I haven't had a chance yet to drive it (so I can see how it "feels" compared to a true B20-VTEC and/or H22 motor) but I hope to soon so I'll know first hand how it compares.
