Ok, I Fu*cked up and put the oil return in a bad spot where my downpipe hits it. I used JB weld to mount it, which was completey stupid so I don't mind taking it out. I pretty f*ckin pissed off at my car and would like to blow it up because my turbo install is taking me like 2 months . Anyways, I need to weld it to the right a little. Am I going to have to get a new oil pan or can this one be plugged up?? Also, where is a decent place to get it welded? Does Midas do it? will pretty much any muffler shop do it or what?

From my experience, don't bother asking muffler shops for welding, go to a welding shop. They'll prolly just weld up the hole, not much to it.

 

Hey man I just had the same problem, I had my oil pan at a machine shop and the welded a 10an female end to it and it turned out that it was in the wrong place. well, all they did was give me a plug for it and welded a new bung a lil further to the right. I wish I could post pics for you but unfortunatly Im in transition right now. I hope this helps but like I said, just go to a machine shop or just someone who welds on a regular basis.
