aight guys,..i need your help,...im throwing 14 which is the IACV code and a 7 which is TPS code,...

code 14 "IACV" ,...has anyone had problems with thiers,...if so and yours went bad how much was a new one,...

Code 7 "TPS" ,...in the haynes manual they said that the TPS must be replaced complete with a throttle body,..is this true?? they said that i shouldn't just replace the TPS without replacing the Throttle body also,...im pretty sure the TPS is the reason why im idling real shitty on my 98 B18B1 motor,...its holding idle at 300 RPMs,..yes its that low


any info on both these codes would be GREATLY appreciated,..TIA

 

For the IACV I wouldnt buy a new one because they cost alot,unless you have the money of course. Id buy a used one..
For the TPS , I think every time you take it out, you need to reset it.(correct me if Im wrong)
Maybe someone can help you out on how to reset it.
But as far as I know it can be replaced, unless u cant take it off.

 

when i said a "new" IACV,..i meant a new one from the one i have,...hehe,...i dont mind a used one as long as it works,..i prefer a used one for the simple fact of cost of a new one,...anyone know where i can get a used IACV from or if someone has one please PM me
