This is anticipated sequel to https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=506810 when they stole my
gauges last Thursday.

Well, just like I thought, the f***in' thieves came back. Last night around 3 a.m. My alarm goes off but
cuts out really quick. I jumped out of bed and looked out the window I saw a car idled in front of mine
and two guys around my car. I yell to my wife, "Someone's trying to steal my car!!!" I grabbed a hammer,
flung the sliding door open, and yelled out, "get the fu** away from my car!!!!!!" The thieves bolted and
the car peeled out. Unfortunately I busted my *** on the wet grass, but as the car passed me by, I flung
the hammer and smashed it into his door. Then I ran back inside and called 911. I just have to say that
I'm still hyped up from it. I'm sick of this crap. After I calm down I seriously going to have to rethink this
whole Honda thing. I'm not quiting, but I'm thinking of just getting a camaro or a mustang and call it a
day. And, once again, if you're on this board, I hope you all die a slow and painful death

that sucks man! I remember your thread about the guages. I say get a rotweiler(sp?)/doberman/pitbull mix and chain that to your car overnight.

Why does everyone say get a dog and ****. Like anyone actually has a dog and chains it to their ******* car and let it **** off the neighbors all night long barking at a cat or other animal. Its just not realistic.

At least to dented their door good with the hammer. I'd call around local body shops and see if anyone comes in with a dented door.

Did they cut your alarm siren?

 

So they stole your car, or they bolted and got in their own car? Either way, that really sucks. I just had my rims stolen earlier this week...it is really discouraging, as i hope stuff like this doesn't continue to plague me. Good luck with everything...although luck doesn't seem to be on your side. I hope everything works out okay for ya.

 

One more thing...are you wondering if someone from h-t is related to this incident? Has someone from h-t been caught by another h-t member for theft??? Lots of people post their car pics and locations on this site...i guess it's good advertisement for thieves. It sucks though cuz a lot of people on here wanna show other folks what they have done to their rides cuz they are proud of them. I'm tired of seeing all these theft posts, including mine...it's truly disturbing.

this is why i'm selling my integra...

not that i'm worried about it getting stolen out here in boring ohio....but because my insurance rates are so high for an LS. it's all due to insurance companies taking so many hits on integra's....sucks for those of us who probably won't have theirs stolen. my record is clean except for one ticket almost 2 summers ago now for running a stop sign.

it's cheaper for me to insure a brand new BMW M3 than it is for me to insure my '00 LS

Thats why (hopefully) I will no longer have a 99 LS tomorrow. Cost me more to insure than a SS camaro. No wrecks, none of that... but my rates go up monthly.

it's rediculous. i can't wait to sell mine just to save on insurance money.

 

Dam, This **** pisses me off!!, sorry to hear, Oscar just told me.
I feel your pain. My car hasn't been the same since they stole it.
I've kind off been depressed about fixing it up, just to have to start worrying
if someone is going to try to steal it again. F@CK you theives.

yea how did they get in/get it started/and bolt so quickly? Man these guys are pros, you said there were 2 guys by your car, where did they go? In your car with the other guy?

 

oh yeah and umm I don't like people who steal....

 

Well they basically punched a small hole next to the driver side keyhole and just popped the lock. The opened the door, popped the hood, and disconnected the battery to shut my alarm up in order to work on the car. At that point I got outside and scared them away.

When I was talking to the officer, he told me that the complex has never had any auto theft problems. The thing that makes me angry is that these guys have some big cojones. It's a well-lit area and the parking spaces are up close to the apartments. BTW the car had no plates These guys had it all planned out....

It's all good though, I have some countermeasures for their asses...

 

a mustang or camaro wont solve you rproblem. You might as well get a toyota tercel or dodge dart.

Sorry to hear of your situation. thieves will get theirs in the end.

 

you need to get a secondary battery and horn for your car so just in-case things....

 

take the expensive parts off ur car now, like after market parts.

 

i highly recoment everyone to reroute their hoor relace cable so its on the inside of the engine bay
thats how my 2nd gen got broken into

Works with thieves and cops "I can't pop my hood officer someone was trying to break into my car and broke the hood release....see the leaver doesn't work..."
