ls vtec vs ls
my friend has an ls in a crx 91 and I have a 87 cry with lsvtec there both stock except for my ls vtec with srp pistons, afc, skunk2 cam gears mild port and polish i/h/e open exhaust he swears his ls is is the **** what do you guys think would be the outcome.

we are bothe good drivers but you should see how cocky he is he tells me that just becuse I got "vtec" that doesn't make a huge difference will see in two days.

I also forgot to add the J1 tranny and crower valvetraian and reprogrammed ecu. I just want to smoke him really bad because he swears his ls is super quick (his mods i/h/e stock ecu and tranny).
just for comparison sake, my boy used to have a CRX HF with all the bolt ons and went 14.30's on slicks with a B18B. He built a B20/Vtec with bolt ons and with all stock bottom end and head and he went 13.60's. With the same driving abilities, you should put 5-6 cars on him conservatively speaking.
