Default Is this a leak?

disregard the liberal amounts of instagasket but is that a crack in my header [cyl 3]? if so, can it be JB Welded or can i dab on some copper silicone? tia

thanks i dont see one either but there looks to be smoke coming outta there by looking at the darkened area above the tube. i can also smell it when im at a standstill. where can i pick up the inferno stuff? according to the guy i got the car from its a Focuz header.

Seems like you have a leak not a crack.

Take that header off and scrape all that **** off the header and head. Get it good and clean and put and OEM gasket in there. Torque the bolts down to spec, which I forget at the moment, and be good to go.

i think he means this spot right here....

looks like it is leaking at the weld....if that's the spot you're talking about....cause look at the pipe to the left of it and you see no black carbon on it.

OT but is that a 94 GSR motor?...built in Japan in 93..but is your car a 94 gsr?

thanks for the replies guys. the guy that had the car before me made the mess with the header gasket. i'm gonna get the proper gasket for it soon tho.

i believe u are correct. 94GSR engine built in JDM land in 93. the block stamp says B18C1. JDM would be just B18C correct?
