Anyone run a Zex nitrous system on a B18C1 power plant? I'm considering this but would like to hear the horror stories of others firts

 

I have never dealt with ZEX kits but I have installed and ran NOS kits on B18C's. The most I think I have ever seen a B18C run was a 175 horse power squeeze on a direct port kit, he was runing a fully built bottom end JE Crower ........ it would spin the tire on the freeway downshifting from 5th to 4th and juicing the bottle. It had wicked torque steer also. On a stock GSR you can get away with a 50 shot and be perfectly safe.

 

the kit is excellent....just make all the correct precautions if you decide to run the 75 hp jets (like me! ) I installed all of the following with the basic Zex kit: Zex Hyperformance Nitrous Spark Plugs, NOS Purge Valve, NOS Bottle Heater, Autometer Instrument Bezel, Autometer Air/Fuel Ratio Guage, Autometer Nitrous Pressure Guage, MSD 8.5MM Ignition Wires, MSD Digital 6 Plus Ingnition Box, MSD Blaster SS Coil, Nitrous Express Rocker Panel (Nitrous Controls)
The basic idea is that if you do it right in the sense of installation and parts, then the car is perfectly safe and very, i mean very fast!
