Default Dyno feedback

Here's my dyno chart: http://members.aol.com/p911lover/GSRdyno.jpg
What do you guys think? I'm just looking for some smart people's opinion. And some background: Stock B17A with 178k miles. It was also about 90 degrees the day of that (no idea about humidity). There were fans blowing on the car, but how do I do that SAE correction thing? Thanks for the feedback

Is it already SAE corrected? It says "SAE HP" on the side grid..so Im assuming it is?

Not bad at all. As a reference, my friend with a stock B16 from a 00 Si pulled 140 max hp...and this was on freshly broken in motor.

a little...its still low tho...

check a H23 with raised compression....now that has some torque (for a 4-banger)

with raised compression
Does raised compression really affect the torque alot? Any idea what percentage of torque is gained per 1 point of compression?

i dont know what kind of ratio...but yes...a bump in compression is your best way to get torque besides an increase in displacement...

it will give you torque through the whole range too...everywhere

Hey guys,

I believe the rule of thumb for compression is each "point" give approx 4% TQ or so. So if you went from 10:1 to ~12:1, like I have, you should gain approx 8% TQ. I think besides FI, compression can really help TQ/HP, esp when you get everything to flow better (Headwork, IHE, Cat, etc.) and give it enough fuel and keep it all lit

Ooo..so if I went from 9.6:1 to 11.6:1 I could gain roughly 10 ft-lbs across the board? Nice

140+ is pretty good for a stock b17 with some miles on it.

Oh, the mods are in the wings. I'm buying bolt-ons right now, but I'm not putting them on till the autox season is over b/c I'm running in GS, and doing well too. I've got a DC 4-2-1 header, AEM CAI, and Greddy MX waiting in the wings for the car. I'm hoping that'll give it a nice boost.
