Search the forum first, then go check to see if your fan is turing on.

does the fan work? is the fan switch ok?
a helms will help immensely here. those symptoms are as if the fan is inop.

i just bought my radiator about 30 mintues ago. ive been wating this dual core forever, now at 99 bucks for a new one with lifetime warranty, had to jump on it

ive known about this upgrade for a while, but ive never actually gone through to getting it. however 2 days ago, my temp gauge was rising as i went uphill on the freeway, thats what pushed me to finally get it. check the thread out

thats a good buy but here is the deal , i have a single core, front mount and still have the ac. if it is overheating in the city and sitting still, and cool while cruising, there isnt anything bringing air over the radiator while still or moving slow. this is in the fan. no matter how big the radiator, if there isnt any air going over it it will not cool.

well thanks for the replys and help just wanted to give an update it was my coolant temp switch I checked the fan itself just by connecting it to the battery then per the chiltons ( I know I need to get helms ) you dis connect the coolant temp switch and check ohms across the pins this is when its cold you should have no continuity then warm the car up to operating temp and turn the car off and again check for continuity this time you should have continuity in my case I didnt and in no time did my fan ever come on I just bought the switch and will put it in tomorrow I know this is a pretty borring thread so Im pretty sure that its going to fix it but if you want me to post the outcome just let me know thanks again on a side note I did do a search I know this is only my first couple posts but I have reading HT for a long time
