Default how do i replace

how do i replace the fan senser ? where is it because i think this mit be the reason why my fans arent coming on and like i know that they work because i tested the condenser fan with the battiery and it came on but when my car is warmed up get goes past normal operating teperture and it over heats and i think the fans have a problem with it overheating , im thinking so how i can check this and hypothiesis mybe that mite be the problem anyone ideas ????

It on the thermostat housing. use an ohmmeter to check for continuity across the terminals of the switch when the motor's cold, there shouldn't be any continuity. Start the motor, warm it up to normal operating temp. then turn off car. Test for continuity once more, there should be continuity when coolant is above 195 degrees. If there isn't any continuity, fan switch is defective.
