Head gasket done/ V-afc installed= v-tec won't engauge
Her is the low down. I just replaced my head gasket on my turbo integra gsr. I also installed some dsm 450cc injectors. Then i added the resistor box and v-afc. This was all done without driving the car over winter. My friend tuned the v-afc but at 5200 rpm the revs won't go any higher! And the v-tec never kicks in! I don't know what the problem is. What could it be besides the wiring of the vafc and the v-tec selonoid? I wired the v-afc back to normal and the v-tec still would not engauge. It really could have been caused by the injectors, v-afc, resistor box, or a line i missed while doing the head gasket. Thanks
The best thing to do is just to go throught everything agian and make sure you plugged everything in after you did the headgasket insall than go from there..
Also make sure your ecu plugs are plugged all the way in...

Did your check the map sensor and the tps sensor alot of people get them mixed up and plugs them in the worng plug. Try swicthing them around
The car is drivable up (drives well) up to 5200 rpm then won't go any higher. it doesn't kill so it is not getting too much fuel. I would say that most likely the problem has to do with the redoing of the head gasket. I am going to dick around with it now..........
Stupid question... Did you get the right head gasket? If you didn't get one for a VTEC head then you've plugged up the hole for the oil to go through that engages your VTEC pins.
