Ok when i'm about to launch my car it boggs bad. I know it's not turbo lag because it seems as it almost wants to shut off. I'm thinking bad vacuum connections anybody willing to help me out here. It's a B16 turbo. The reason why this pissed me of is because it caused me to loose a race. I raced a 93 civic hatch w/ a b18c and that's the only reson I lost is because of the bogging cause as soon as I recoverd I would gain on him but by that time the race was over and I had lost. Any help is appreciated thanx.

 

what do you launch at and have you ran your car?

 

Maybe you did not lauch high enough. If you have good tires and don't lauch high enough, then your car won't have the power to get moving thus causing it to bogg.

 

I launched at 5000 rpm. I think that is a good number and think it shouldn't bog out. But then again who knows I was on street tires at 18psi.
