Default First time at a strip

Okay, so I'm heading to the Holt, FL dragstrip tonight (Friday, May 18), and this will be my first time ever at a dragstrip.

Just looking for a few pointers.

I will be driving my Integra GS-R turbo (Turbonetic's F-MAX kit on 8 PSI), on some regular street tires (nothing special) and want to know around what RPM should I launch at? I know some people might say get better tires, but I'm just going to get some experience and practice launching (even if its on crappy tires).

Thanks in adavance everyone! Wish me luck!

every car will be different. its really just repetition in your own car and getting comfortable.
no omne can tell you a magical number to launch your car at in order to best achieve faster and quicker ETs.
I would just try a few different RPMs and go from there.

...... and then get some better tires

after your burnout before you pull to the the 1st stage do a practice launch or two, then pull to your first stage, then preload into your second stage wait for third yellow, and launch. To read on what preloading is click here, read post 8, I just learned what it was yesterday.lolhttps://honda-tech.com/zerothread/1987582
