hey guys i recieved my motor with a broken oil cap in the valve train good thing i checked under the oil cap any way i took all the big chunks of plastic out but i couldnt get every little piece like its all out to my knowledge except for maybe little little crum pieces that are too small to get out. will these little pieces effect my motor or valve train at all any help would be great thatnks

 

If your really worried about it, when you get the motor in and everything and it starts up. Let it run for abour 2 minutes, then shut off, let all oil drain to the pain then change your oil.

 

yeha thats what i was gonna do do you think any thing will get messed up from the plastic tho...

 

If there really tiny, I don't really think so. You could could also try this, is your engine just sitting out ? Poor some oil all inside the valve cover, let it drip down then change that out.
