hondata doesn't work on accord ecu's.. you have to get a new ecu like the p28 and reprogram it with the hondata.

If had had the cash I would go with hondata, but you need to get a civ/integra ecu for it to work. I got the SAFC/DSM 450cc injectors for super cheap ($250 for both) and decieded to give it a shot, why the hell not?

what do you need to do to get the car to run on a civic/integra ecu? p28 for example, what needs to be done to the wiring? Also would I have to immediately get it tuned by hondata to have it work for my accord engine?
I run a '90 Accord with a P06 ECU (cheap). 94 and 95 Accords have EGR (A11) and the O2 heating (A6) reversed and must be rewired.
The Hondata software includes base maps for the F22 with stock, 440, 550 and 720 cc injectors. That alone is worth a couple of hundred dollars worth of tuning time as all the part throttle is well mapped.

you just switch the two wires at the ECU right? cuz that's what i did.

stand alone fuel management in a nutshell replaces your ecu with a new more complete and adjustable unit.
piggy back components (ie. like vafc, safc, or anything like that)... they modify the existing ecu or readings in such a way that it is more adjustable without buying a whole standalone setup.

Thanks. So the SAFC is probably the least expensive to install and to modify for a home mechanic. Will it work for a junkyard DSM system? I have a TD05H turbo off a talon and I'm hoping that will work in the mean time. I havent found a compressor and turbine that match what numbers I want. I have yet to get an intercooler and upgrade my fuel system. Car is still stock I'm just designing a list of parts to buy.
Thanks everyone
