Default OEM EX muffler on a LX

Will a 96' EX muffler fit on a 96' LX without any modifications. thanks

ex mufflers are dual tip i think, so it probably won't fit out the bumper slot....you could make it fit without any trouble though, but it's not gonna be worth it compared with what you could get for cheap at a muffler shop

so it would bolt right up then. my car has the area for dual tips on the bumper already so thats no a problem.
Hrmm.. you say, i could get a cheaper exhaust at a muffler shop, but could i get one that would bolt-on. cause im doing the work myself and welding on exhaust makes me cringe.

if you have access to a welder, then do that, but even at a muffler shop, they could do it for you for maybe $20 or so.....either way, just try it, if the ex muffler doesn't swap right out, then go have someone weld it....won't hurt, and that's gonna be your cheapest way out
