Anybody know of an antenna to replace original on an 88 Accord that will improve my reception?

 

You can purchase an amplifier, but that will increase static along with the music.

An aftermarket headunit would make the biggest difference, so long as everything is wired correctly.

 

I got an aftermarket HU already with good fm specs. And you're right, amps also increase noise.

 

What hu do you have?

Do you have decent grounds?

Grounds are good everything works fine cassette cd and display. But I live in between NYC and Phila. So some stations are weak. But my other car is newer and has an antenna built into windshield and seems to pull stations in a little better.
