I'm just wondering because I may want to do this once I get my F#CKED up turbo back from it's rebuild. I'm gonna get it dyno tuned so I"m not worried about it blowing or anything. Just wondering if it's even possible since UberTeg's chip is made to work with 450's from the start.
The problem with anything over 10psi is the stock map sensor cannot read over 10 psi. If you go over 10psi the ecu will not be able to add anymore fuel because the map sensor will stop reading boost at 10 psi and you will start to run lean. I have not heard that ubertegs software is calibrated to work with a 2 or 3bar map sensor yet. Maybe if someone had a 2 or 3 bar map sensor and ubertegs software they could try tuning it with one and see how it work out.

true...I know I would need a 3 bar MAP, but I was wondering if with just a 3BM sensor, could i go the easy route and just tune w/the AFC instead of reprogramming the ecu? I'm getting UberTeg's software pretty soon too so i'm not too worried, just want to know if it could be done.
Just wait for the 3bar version of his chip. Relying on the AFC to correct for the 3 bar sensor AND to tune fuel doesn't sound like a recipe for success.
