resistor box for injectors or not???
88 hf with built b20/vtec. motor is in my 98 cx right now using rc 310's. I'm gonna swap it into an 88hf and keep the P28 i'm using now with an obd-0 to obd-1 harness. Can't I just wire the injectors straight to the ecu and not worry about the resistor box? Thanks
no doesn't matter if OBDI or OBD0 it matters if you injectors are low or high resistiance (Ohms) if low need resistor box if high don't need it

Absolutely right. I believe the low-resistance(peak-and-hold type) are 2 ohm, and the high resistance(saturated type) are 12 ohm. Just stick a multimeter across the 2 injector pins. All OBD1 civics are 12ohm (no resistor box), but preludes/accords are a different story...

yep the resistor box itself is 4.5-5ohm and raises it up to what is needed for the ECU, measure to be on the safe side. You said you had them in a 98 did you use a resistor box then?? any problems?? if no I would say no
