Ultimately what determines braking ability is the amount of friction that you generate between the road and the tires. None of the above (booster, MC or bigger rear brakes) improve this.

Bigger front rotors/calipers/pads would give you better clamping force and better resistance to fading after repeated stops - but you usually have to increase rim size to accomodate these larger brakes. Then you are dealing with more expensive replacement parts. Note that many people can get ABS to kick in with Hoosier slicks on the front of the car with stock rotor/pad/caliper size - which means the stock setup already can overcome the frictional resistance of the contact patches.

The easiest way to improve braking performance is to lighten the car as much as possible. Less mass = less inertia = less braking needed to slow the car down.

Having a larger contact patch in the front is the best way to go - but on the ITR you are usually limited to a 225 section width tire in front due to space constraints.

It seems you're missing the point.

Stuff like this is nominal, and is of diminishing return especially given the amount of money you'd spend on it, when the money could have been epent on something that will make you fastor - like an autocross school or HPDE seat time.

I'd have to agree with Big Phat R. The number one thing that improves braking performance is your tires. With a lightened car, all you would need is minor brake improvements. You really don't have to go with that setup unless you were going to run in the world challenge or 12 hours of sebring. Your spoon calipers, agressive pads front and rear, and stainless lines, with master cylinder brace should be more than enough. Don't waste all that money and save it for other things that can stop the car faster, your driving ability.

Then again, I know you're all about the *bling* .
