Can't get O2 sensor out
Any special tricks to getting the O2 sensor out of a cat?
I am putting a testpipe on and teh sensor will not budge. i have used all the force i can and it hasn't budged.

oh nm then
If you have the cat off you don't have to worry about the damn wire. I couldn't figure out how to disconnect the Cat sensor from the car when i did my header install 2 months ago. But mine came off (out of the cat) fairly easily.
Suprising to me as my ITR is a 97'

O2 sensor sockets suck. Get a 22mm Open ended wrench. Good leverage. ALso HEAT helps.

The splt allows too much flex. 22mm wrench has more leverage and doesn't slip/strip as easily.

1) Wd40 the bitch out of it
2) Let it sit for 10 mins
3) Get out the 22 and pop it loose. It might help if you can have a friend use his foot to stop the cat from moving while you wrench at it.

Yeah...what used to look like a nut is what you're trying to take off...
WHat are were you using? Monkey wrench? Pliers?
Lefty loosey, righty tighty.
Liquid Wrench (substitute WD40), let it soak and bust out the GI Joe Kung Fu Grip.
22mm deep socket will certainly help.
If soaking the part with liquid wrench, it's time to bust out the propane torch.
On your next install, a little bit of anti-seize on the threads will help for the next time you need to remove it...
