Default DX and SI injectors the same??

well....i just finished my MPFI conversion and it was driving fine for a few days until today. turned on the car, and let it warm...then all of a sudden, check engine light comes and idle went low...then the car started to sound like it was about to choke...something like sputtering or something....looked on the ECU and i had a Code 7, 16, and 17....i know the code 7 is TPS, code 16 is fuel injectors, and 17 is the VSS (my speedo isn't working). Im guessing that one of them injectors went out on me thats what causing the sputtering and low idle...so my question is, are those 2 injectors the same?? cuz i still have the old manifold and i can just take the injector from there to swap over to the other IM...help me fellas agp

Correct the #7 first and see if you get the code still. Some codes make other codes appear.

What's with the VSS? My guess is that your speedo cable is broke or disconnected. It's not hard to replace/troubleshoot. I would definitely fix that... probably giving you a hard code and making your ECU run in "limp home mode".

No you can't use DX injectors in an Si, the Injectors aren't even remotely close to fitting each other.

On a side note a code 17 wont put you in limp mode. However changing the cable can be a pita because theres a small metal bracket way up under your dash that makes it damn hard to feed through if you put on too much tape connecting your new cable to a string

NOOOOO

the injectors arent not even closeeeeee to look alike....

they are diff shape, resistance and work different....

i would check all the wiring..... i had plenty code 16's and it was bc one of the cables for inj was fractured.... so it worked for a while and some bumps will make it not work,,,
