anyone have issues with t fittings on the oil sender?

it seems that the weight of the t fitting including all the unions and such will cause it possibly be dangerous mounted directly to the block. I'm wondering if anyone truly had a problem from them being directly screwed into the sender.
thanks

i have seen blocks with a portion of the block cracked off where the ops screws in, but never actually had it happen to me.
i had vtec, turbo and ops mounted in that hole with 2 tee's and never had a problem.
