Installing Supension Technique F/R Sways lx/ex owners read please
i just bought this set for one of a close friends(her)...
i was wondering if 94-95 ex coupe's have a rear sway? or do they have the hole to mount the sway on the LCA's= Lower Control arms?
i think i've rear that i can use CL rear LCA's..?? don't they have a stock rear sway/ or mounting points for it on the LCA's?
b/c she has a LX w/ Abs/rear disc... rare breed.. and i don't feel comfortable drilling through her LCA's.. so is there any other LCA's i use that has the mounting holes stock??
thanks for the help

all of them have the hole drilled for the oem sway bar. it's not cost effective for honda to make different lower control arms for each car.
you should still drill the hole like the instructions say which is 1 inch away from the stock hole. S/T tells you this for a reason. it's not hard, measure and drill.

correct.

correct.
I could have sworn that the directions actually said to drill a hole only if the vehicle did not have a stock rear sway? I could be wrong.
well the if the directions say drill a hole 1 inch from the stock hole, i think that means something.
since it's giving the stock hole as point of reference for drilling a new hole, that would tell me to drill a new hole and that every car has the hole regardless.
my friend installed it according to the directions

OK home now and I have the directions in front of me, I didn't drill out another hole becuase this is what the directions say:
"3. Measure 1 inch in front of the original stud location on the trailing arm and scribe a mark. Center-punch the mark and drill a 13/32 inch hole into it. Do the same to the arm on the other side of the vehicle. Skip this step if your vehicle has the hole already"
See it's that last part about skipping the step if your vehicle has this hole that has me thinking you shouldn't put another hole if one is already there. What do you guys think?

You do not need to drill any hole to get ST's sway bar on 5th gen
that is for EX(with oem sway bar) and LX(without sway)

Yup hes right... Well mines an 92 LX and they don't even come with a stock rear sway bar... and the trailing arm still had the hole already there...i just bolted the L shaped bracket to and and bolted the endlinks, and bolt the other 2 places where the bushings hold the sway bar and viola... you've got urself a rear sway bar... im pretty sure if ur friends is an ex... it should have a rear sway bar... i could be wrong... but just check for the hole on the rear trailing arms...
