i need help installing my tach.

hey.. i just bought a Autometer 5" Tach and i was just wondering if anyone knew how to install it... any info would be very appreciated... thanks

do you know basic electronics? all it is... run the wires to where they are needed. red = power. black = ground. green = signal

a good place to get an RPM signal is either at the ECU, or the service plug. The service plug is a blue wire that isn't attached to anything, and is strapped down on the passenger side fender in the engine bay.

if you want to keep the green wire in the passenger compartment like me you can splice in to the solid blue wire that leads to you cruise control unit thats under the dash under the drivers side.
