Default calling all hydrolic tranny experts.....

so i am taking the cx engine out of my 94 hatch. and the only thing i cannot get apart is the little hydrolic line that connects to the transmission in the front? is there a trick to this? i have sprayed some lubricating stuff on there to easy it... doesnt work. the 10mm just keeps tring to strip out... this is all that is hold me up on my engine coming out. PLEASE help.

Huh? What you want to do is take off the whole slave cylinder, not the line. There should be 2 bolts holding on the slave cylinder, and they shouldn't be very hard to remove.

the thing that line connects to... i want to remove that whole thing? when i take those bolts out, will it all just slide right out? is it a pain to get lined up with anything putting it back in? bare with me. i havent messed with hyro stuff yet. been a crx guy for years... so i am learning. thanks for the help though

yeah the whole thing will come off easily....it's black....it is also easy to put back on and much easier than rebleeding clutch line!!!

You can't use a regular open end wrench. You need to use a flare nut wrench......
I picked mine up at advance autoparts for like $4, here's a pic of what it looks like:

sweet. i know what u are talking about. didnt know if there was anything inside the tranny that i had to disconnect or not cuz i wanted to pull the engine and tranny as one to make it a little easier.

and nsxmat... i was thinking to myself earlier i needed some damn wrenched like that. didnt know i could get that that cheap though. thanks for the help guys.

you wouldnt happen to know where to wire vtec wires to in a 94 cx would you? check the forum for my post. thanks
