Default does the oil return line on a d series have to be angled?

i'm wondering about this due to the fact that i see the stock greddy kit came with one with a slanted tip. will there be any clearance issues with my line?

Hmm, I don't remember it being angled, but I know for sure I didn't have any clearance issues.

The fitting on the pan just needs to be lower than the one on the turbo, so it can drain properly.

i dont have a greddy kit, but the return line on my car is a 45 degree angle. Just like inspyral said as long as it drains properly you'll be ok. Just make sure its a smooth flow (w/gravity) from the turbo to the oil pan.
