I just swapped an obd1 gsr motor into my 93 dx, i haven't wired up vtec yet (no time) but my car is running rich as hell, i have to fill up almost every day with 91 octane and it only lasts for 60 miles. WTF is it...i had that same motor in a 95 civic which was written off and the motor didn't do that. By the way the motor wasn't touched by the accident, it just sat in my garage for a month.

 

pop open the plugs and check them out. maybe there is another culprit as in gas leaking from the tank or fuel rail?

how are the plugs? really wet? what ECU? tried changing the injectors to DX ones???

Before is swapped the motor , my dx gave me about 700km/per tank so i doubt it's a leak.

Eg6, you are a local is there any possible way you could look at it tonight???

Do you have a heavy foot? Or you're running extremely rich.

 

it barely idles, every time i come to a stop the car stalls so i had to adjust the tb cable that it's always giving a bit gas.

 

Put up a sign by your car... No open flame closer than 1000 Ft.
Check your fuel system. What ECM r u running?

 

Someone is stealing gasoline from you.
