Default HONDATA and DSM 450cc's...what was the problem again?

I've been searching for this topic on this board and hondata's website.....but what was the problem again with the DSM 450cc's.....or as brought to attention by hondata.....I have some 2G DSM 450cc's from my previous project and I'm planning to run that with a HONDATA and Intank in an EG

If you want some RC 440's I'll sell you mine because I am upgrading to 720's.

There is no real problem. Just make sure you run the resistor box and get them cleaned/balanced before hand/

There should be no problem, but if you happen to have hard starting when hot and major idle control problems, then there is slight chance it could be the way your hondata and your dsm's work with each other.

Sometimes they don't play well together.

I have never seen a problem though, others have and some haven't. So don't spread any rumors that they don't work together in all cases please!

92-95 EG D16Z6 motor / SI hatch are OBD1 it shouldn't need a resistor box since it already has one correct? Planning to run the APEXi kit with the 450cc's, intank, and hondata for fuel management......PWR intercooler from Mike again probably.....and i'm back..woot woot.....this is going to take about a year to get all the parts again....from wheels, suspension, exterior, and turbo setup.....

Dont call hondata on this issue. I delt with them along time ago, i talked to doug and he said they were fine. Now just a month back i had a problem wih the chip being bad and the tech guy at hondata told me that it was the dsm injectors and that you cant use them with hondata. I asked to speak to his boss or doug and none of them were around. I hope they fired his ***! He told me i did not know what i was doing and those injectors would never work, even though i had been running them with the same setup for 2 years and never had a problem and back in the day before he worked there doug had told me over the phone that they were fine to use. Dude those injectors will work fine, just make sure your resistance is correct, via resistors or what ever.
