how low can a CRX lower!!??
i was told that CRX wasnt meant to drop real low.....is this true???i got on coilovers and its all the way down..and its Phawkkin still high...post up some pic of yah rex and what springs/coilovers yah using...thanks!!
how low do you think is low? talked to hamm'ed hatch.. he's got a few tricks up his sleeve for dropping an EF for LOOKS not handling purposes..
i hear ya, i got skunk2s dialed all the way down (in the pass front the driver is up a bit) i dont wanna cut, but i feel my **** is still skyscraping compared to my friends truck and lexus is300
Like I always suggest to everyone who wants to lower their cars and have no fender gap, try the Sprint RX Extreme's, i love mine
They dont bounce at all because they are progressive and are soft, so mated with some adjustable shocks and it will be even better

Where could we pick up some of these?

I got mine off some guy from a classifieds site, but go on http://www.google.com and do a search for Sprint RX Extreme or something along the lines of that, they shouldnt cost that much, at most $130 and its worth every penny
Just dont get them straight from Sprint, theyll charge you like 250! Also, some sites dont tell you they are the RX's, theyll just say a model number, so the model number is x1000

hehe, thanks. A word to the wise though, GET Adjustable balljoint camber kits for the front if you get these springs... camber wear is a real bitch. DO NOT get the adjustable anchor bolt type camber kit, your A-Arms will hit for sure. http://www.iapdirect.com sells adjustable balljoints at a good price, get the one that adjusts up to 3 degrees and you should be set

i was about to ask about camber too, yours looks to have very little camber, what brand balljoints do you have, the spc? also who did your alignment with the adjustable balljoints?

actually, in that pic i didnt have a camber kit in, it just looks like it has no camber because of the angle the pic was taken at. I'm saving up for the SPC one off iapdirect.com.
I've got the Sprint rx extremes as well. Very nice drop and the ride is still good. I'd definitely recommend these over coilovers. Go to http://www.impactparts.com to order. They've got good prices.

how much camber do you have? have you had the toe adjusted?

that pic is kinda deceiving because you cant see the top of the wheel vs the bottom of the fender... still looks good though.
i would say its true though EF civic/crx is jacked in stock form. you can tuck tire in an eg or ek civic with less of a drop (and way less scraping problems).
every car is different though. you cant compare a crx to your friends truck. i mean lots of trucks can tuck 20's without even hacking up the fenderwell vs a crx where you can barely fit a 205 without rubbing
240sx's have pretty much no room in the fenderwell... thus you can drop them to the point of scraping everywhere and still have like an inch of wheelgap.
but yeah basically if you just want a nice drop with no wheel gap you can pull it off in an EF but if you want to go much lower 92+ is a better choice (imo)

nah i havent had anything adjusted, ive been waiting to get a camber kit before i get a full alignment. I dunno how much negative camber I have, but considering my springs lower a total of about 3.5 inches after settling and everything, i might as well get the camber kit that adjusts the most.

Are you one of those Dilberts that obey every law there is in the book, drive with your hands at 10 and 2, and has a pocket protector shoved up your ***? Oh yea, and it's spelled LOGIC you assbag. Someone lock this thread, its been going nowhere since this **** hole showed up.
