short rams??
Well if this helps i have a Injen CAI and i used to have a AEM CAI and both where cut in half so i can switch to short and cold air. When i have the cold air pipe off i could feel a difference in top end....

whats the difference? is it stronger? or weaker with the cold air pipe off?

Your top end is technically better because it requires less effort for the air to get to your engine. CAI is good for low end, mid range power. Short ram intake should be okay for the first couple of runs, but after that engine temps affect the intake air.
i see it as if you have a cold are there is going to be more friction with the aire due to that it is travaling though more pluming and there is less pluming with the short ram but on the other hand the cold air is more cooler air then the short ram
so i went with a short ram with spray and it will have less friction and restriction with alot colder air
and it runs like a champ
