I think his Injectors are to big..440cc thats big for what he has...I think it would run good with 270cc...Thats all he needs no bigger..

Smaller injectors.
Adjust fuel pressure.
Set for better timing advance.
Tune cam gears.

Good for a lil more than 7 extra ponies.

Tuning gears is the first thing I would look into. Personally, I wouldn't bother changing out the injectors, just play w/ the fpr.

that car should be capable of 210-220 at the wheels that's just the thing with toda C's hours of dyno time.

Hondata can handle 440 CC injector just fine, there is no need to swap out the injectors

270cc with spec c's? nah.

no need to swap out injectors. with hondata, 440cc is just fine for spec c's.

sgt use to run 60-70psi fuel pressure with 310cc's in his itr with spec c's.

tune the cam gears.

you guys have absolutely no clue what you are talking about.
First off a 270 will be waaay too small
Second, it doesnt matter if the injectors are too big b/c they can be regulated with his hondata.

BustaNutt-616...I know for a fact that 270cc injectors are not to small for his set up..Trust me you dont want me to prove it to you...

And if you know so much why dont you tell him what he needs to do to get more HP out of his set up.....

270 would barely be enough.
The rule of thumb with fuel is budget 20% more fuel than you need for your
desired power output. In this case 310 or 370 would be ideal.

Since hehas not tuned his cams yet, i think thatwould bethe next logical course of action.

I agree, there seems to be so much mis-information floating around these days. People, if you don't know what the hell you are talking about please chill and have a nice can of STFU.
I don't think that I have ever been as frazzled as when people give advice when they know nothing about a subject!

not bad for the mods and power, but i think those fuel system upgrades don't give u that much power compare to the money u paid. Go fast, then go with ITB and build bottom run with some serious compression there

can't read the chart clearly but looks like fuel pressure is crapping out past 7500, did you at least upgrade your fuel pump ?

nice power, I'd personally go with 270cc injectors and 60-65 psi fuel pressure for better atomization ... but thats just me

Greg...for a bigger version of the plot copy and paste this link into your browser http://www.imagestation.com/pi...g.jpg

Austin

p.s. RC 440cc/min have better atomization than the RC 310, or 370's per RC Engineering, not sure about the 270's, or the 290's

i believe that vtec is set at 5900. I was thinking it should be at 6500-6800. Anybody have any insight at what is the ideal range.

thanks

To know where Vtec should come on, You take your car to a Dyno and right before you turn the car on unplug the vtec solenoid and do a pull up to 6500 rpms and where TQ starts to drop is where you should turn Vtec on...

I have Skunk2 stage 3 cams and my vtec comes on at 5700 rpms...
And i dont have a vafc.

Thanks
