Default B & M short shifter

Is this a good shifter to get? I don't want to spend hundreds of dollars on a shifter. IF not this one, what would be a good one? Thanks.

Many people here prefer the Skunk2's.... or so I've read so far. If you want to be a follower, go with the Skunk2s. ...

I have a generic but hey does it work... and make sure you upgrade your Shifter bushings to some Energy Suspension Polyurethane ones....(best $10 money can buy).

my b&m never rattled once, but it was incredibly awkward shifting into 3rd and 5th, and the shifter was just too small overall. It did shift incredibly smooth, and the throw was just the right length.
