Default Bad dealer service experience

I really can't believe what had just happened to my GSR. I took my car in to get a moonroof rail replaced under warranty. The rail was messed up by another dealer when they were trying to fix a rattling noise from the moonroof visor. So not only that it took them a 3 days to get the moonroof rail replaced, when I picked up my car, the whole hood was swirled and scratched up. There are some kind of grease covering the deeper scratches. The bumper also had some kind of chemical on it in about a 2"x10" area and under the chemical, the paint started bubbling.

The reason why I'm so sure they messed up the front is because I just detailed/waxed the whole car right before I took the car in for service. And also all the wax on the hood are gone. When I touch the fender, I could feel the wax. When I touched the hood, NOTHING!!!!!!!!!

I am really mad now... they made me leave the car with them so they can buff off all those swirls and scratches, but I am really worried about thsoe bubble on the bumper.

Sorry, I just needed to vent.

Ouch bro. I had a semi-similar experience. All I can say is hound them to fix it right. If they want to fix it the wrong way let them. Just keep taking it back until it gets fixed the right way. Also, demand that you should be compensated for your time w/o your car, at least a loaner.

I know buffing it will probably take out most of the scratch/swirl, but what I really worry about is the bubbles, buffing it will only make them bigger. I think the only way to fix it is probably repaint the area which means they will probably screw it up too.

About a loaner, they gave is a stupid rental Malibu from Enterprise last week. After I knew they couldn't get it done over the weekend, I told them I'm not going to live with a Malibu. The Malibu was a joke and it drove so bad. I made them gave me a RSX, which is really dirty too. Really really bad experience....

Everytime I go to the dealership I want to punch the service people. They are rude and cocky, the only way you get good service is if you're either a female or are 30 years old or older.

when you go back for your car, dont leave unless it's EXACTLY how it was before you went there. ask to speak to the service manager or even the general manager. dealer tried to screw me once after they did bad work, had a meeting with the service manager and got everything fixed for free and then some.
