Scott, Ive told you several times now. Supercharger is the only way to get that car out of the 15's. Dont waste your money on anything else.

A supercharger is more investment than its worth (for the same money you could be in a turbo which has much more potential).

BTW, are you sure your F22 is a DOHC?

Turbo=money, lot of work to install.
S/C=Cheap power, not as much work to install.

Oh my good lord are you looking for some flaming. You need to bring up price comparison. First off, what about the availability of sc's for F22's (there are what 2 companies that have them available?), and what about the fact that since an sc is belt driven, it will rob you some power, etc, etc, etc.

Guys like kentucky accord, niedejb, and maybe SohcArchangel that come to my mind real quick do or have the potential to go below 15's, all with different routes, all other than with superchargers. You need to stick around here, and learn about what you can do to an F.

First off welcome scott...as you can see you will come across ALOT of arguments about what you should do to your car. My advice is first run a search on your car and engine to see what others like you have done and what their results were. Peace and good luck dude.

Actually, there are ZERO F22 off-the-shelf blowers. Unorthodox Racing is supposedly working on one. Jackson Racing scrapped their project. Supposedly, the Vortec centrifical units may be adapted to fit, but they are ghetto rigged. Now imagine if he has a DOHC F22B. Hmmm...he's fresh out of blower luck.

NOT exactly..
you have fun taking the throttle body out when i slap on turbo on.
turbo is cheaper than sc about half of the price.

I second this guy... ummm... not on the N02 shots, but the H22... my engine is beginning to go and i'm strongly considering H22A, since it's a bolt on swap!

Haha... i got a 91 EX F22A4... it's a SOHC... i'm sure urs is a SOHC and not a DOHC (unless u peaked under the valve cover and seen another camshaft hiding somewhere in there)!

Hey scott...you ever heard "the more money the better"...is like that, it just depend how much you want to spen for your stuff...

First of all get an exhaust that a thing that all race car has...
Second go I/h/E if you not planning for turbo...
Then Last go for nos...that the cheapest plan you can do to ur engine...if you dont want spend lots of money on it...
Swap is too much money man, if you dont know how to put it in ur self...Labor is a pain of money...

whatever you want to do make sure you have a well thought out plan. dont waste your money on useless items and end up throwing it away or replacing it later. do it once and do it right. save you a lot of money and hassle.

example....if you want a swap later on save up for that. dont work on this motor when some of the parts wont be able to be transfered.
