2 piece 11" bolt on rotors finally ready...12" kit in the final design stages...
The 2 piece ITR spec rotors are now ready to shipping.
As a recap of these projects, here's why I'm posting this.
I was asked a few months ago if I could develop a bolt on 11" upgrade for the Integra that would have the same approximate braking capability as the ITR brakes. At the same time people asked about a 12" kit using a 4 piston caliper.
I currently make a stock 11" replacement rotor that will bolt onto the Integra using the 98+ Accord V6 calipers, but some people wanted an even better brake rotor. That's when I decided to design a 2 piece rotor that would use the stock ITR/Accord Wagom/Prelude VTEC caliper, and bolt onto the stock Integra knuckles.
So that's where we are today. The 11" x 1" thick 2 piece rotor bolts on using the ITR spec calipers. You do need 15" wheels and all the GS-R wheels will work. I've priced these at $410/pair shipping included. Slotting adds $50.
The 12" kit has been going forward with test fitting of the rotor/caliper combo scheduled for next week. This kit will have the 12.2" x 1.25" thick rotors, weighing less than 10 lbs each, and a 4 piston caliper, total weight savings will be about 10 lbs per wheel. I'm still working on the brackets for this package, and don't know if I'll be using the large or small calipers. It depends on how much the calipers extend outward from the rotor, and whether they will clear the wheels...

So this 11 inch kit is for the GSR LS RS integra correct and the 410 price includes all needed parts to install?
Will they fit inside Racing Hart CP-F evolutions?

so what i get is that these 11" rotors wont fit with stock GSR calipers???
any chance of making a large rotor that will fit stock GSR calipers or is that not worth the hassle....
good work BTW>

Fastbrakes, wilwood calipers and 12 inch rotors *drool*
So you guys are going to try to see which caliper you are going to use on the 12" kit, and the factor that will decide this is wether or not it clears stock rims? Because i was reading your DSM set up and you state that 16" aftermarket rims might be nessesary....it'd be cool if you can get it under the 15" rims but 12" rotors and nice calipers in the 15" rims looks TIGHT
-kb0t, who is hesitating to but in his new brake pads because he wants 10lb savings per wheel and ungodly braking potential.

ricehornet ... whats up! see you up here again in the fall?
JUST got my Fastbrakes 2pc, 11" rotors!!!!!!
oh my sedan is going to be so happy on the track now!
they look very intimidating to a GSR owner... me included...
they're HUGE! ONE INCH thick and eleven inches across, perfecto.
The aluminum hats have a hard black anodize coating, very smooth and not too glossy.
Bolted to the rotors with 8 allen wrench bolts about .45 inch diameter at the head... again---> BEEFY!
The rotors are cadmium plated and the vented middle section is directional, they have a R or L in sharpie marker on them to help a doofus like me know which is which.
There are two hub centric aluminum rings included to center the rotor.. cool.
The cool thing about these new rotors is that (hopefully) you no longer need to mill off 3mm from the caliper bracket to get the pads centered around the rotor... which is good news for me and my new unmodded calipers.
So when I get home tonight I will try to slap 'em on with my recently acquired Prelude calipers. Wish me luck!
I'll post pix when they are on and I am finished breakin' them in.

I'm trying to bring in the 12" kit for less than $1k with the small 4 piston calipers, the larger calipers will push the price up a bit...
The $410 covers the cost of the rotors only. You will need to pick up a set of the ITR calipers. Since you will be using a stock caliper, the aftermarket rims should fit, but I can't sure for sure. You may have to do a little trimming on the caliper to clear any spokes, etc.
The DSM kit uses the very large Superlite calipers. I want to try to keep the stock wheel sizes for the Teg, so the Dynalite calipers will be tried first. I am pretty sure they will clear the 15" wheels, but not necessarily the stock wheels. I will know more in a couple of weeks.
hey, as long as they stop like theres no tomorrow(better than ITR specs), and saves me ~10lbs per wheel, i'll be happy
under 1k

So 410$ for rotors and I source the ITR caliper's sound's good to me but will it all bolt up or will i have to fab up brackets in order to mount the caliper's?
No mounts necessary, the calipers bolt right to your knuckles. I've designed the rotor offset to compensate for the difference in the calipers...
Your the man. Count me in on this dealio. Are there going to be 2-piece rear rotor's available that will use stock calipers but remove unsprung weight.
I've looked into making a 2 piece rear rotor, unfortunately the price would still be close to $400/pair due to the cost of the hat and rotor, both of which are custom designs. If there is enough interest I will make them...
fastbrakes,
I am need of rear calipers asap. do you have any applications, or suggestions?
thanks.
I would prefer some sort of upgrade as opposed to just replacing with stock gsr calipers,
I would be interested in front upgrade down the road a bit.

There isn't anything currently available for the rear, as the combined parking brake assembly should be retained. I have been toying with the idea of adding a 2 piston caliper for the rear brake, and using the existing caliper as a parking brake only, but haven't gotten beyond the idea stage yet...
How much should one expect to pay for the calipers needed to do this?
How much are the wilwood ones they spoke of?

You should be able to find some ITR/Accord wagon calipers for less than $200/pair.
The Wilwood calipers for the kits I put together range from $115 to $250 each...
