the LS tach in my Teggi keeps jumpind around like crazy, i had the distributer off the other day, and it started after i out it back on, so, what did i do to it, how can i fix it?

 

If it just started happening the worst that it could be is that its either something with your tach or its a bad ignintor.
If you worked on you car and it started happening its most likely that the ground wire that attaches to the thermostat water neck is off or loose....

i have the same problem, except mine only happens when im at WOT, it jumps up only, not down. except i was not messing around with anything in the engine, it just started happening one day. i would like to know the answer to this too.
