how do you change tranny fluid?
there is a drain plug on the passenger side of the vehicle (on the tranny obvisouly)
slightly higher and off to right is the fill bolt. the drain plug is a 3/8 drive and the fill bolt is either a 14mm or a 17mm ( i can't remember ). when i changed this 2 weeks ago i used a lift, removed the tire for easier access.
first loosen the fill bolt then remove drain plug and let the fluid drain. then reinstall drain plug, remove bolt and fill with 2 quarts of manual tranny fluid. this is best done with a funnel with hose attached or my favorite a old grease gun with hose on the end. (stick hose in fluid, pull plunger, then insert in tranny and depress plunger.) tighten fill bolt and put tire back on. hope that helped, let me know if i missed anything
