engine mount for h22a
does anybody make motor mounts for the h22a to be dropped into a 94-95 honda accord lx. i'm thinking about the swap? i want the motor to be dropped right in without major mods.
Ok, you use all of the stock mounts except the drivers side mount.
On the driver side you are going to use a prelude 2 piece mount. You are going to have to shave off maybe 1mm on both side of the mount so it will drop into the chassis mount. That's all. You can can even use your stock Accord tranny too. Good Luck!!!!

Wow..you can use the Accord tranny with the H22A?
So all you really need for the swap is a H22A long block, new drivers side mount and an ECU?

What about the header? Will an F22 header work on the H22?
One more thing...will the H22 perform poorly with a F22 tranny since Im assuming the F22s tranny is geared longer?

man, the header wont fit, its a different head
depending on if you are n/a or turbo
shorter ratios better for n/a
longer better for turbo

Dude man, I'm having so much trouble with my swap, mostly because it's a '00 H22 (less than 5K miles on it) into a 92 Accord. The mounts were no problem, but I've had to get these parts as well, all from the 4th gen Prelude VTEC: ECU, distributor, axels, power steering pump and bracket, and fuel injectors. Ouch my checking account hurts. Would've been easier with an older engine, but I just couldn't pass up this cherry motor.
I hope your 5th gen Accord swap goes smoother.
I'm going all-motor, so I'm using the Prelude tranny and it's closer gear ratios. I'll miss my Accord tranmission's long legs, but it's tall ratios just suck the performance from a N/A engine.
I'm also assuming the Lude tranny is tougher than the F22 one.
