who has a turbo b20z
who has a turbo b20z and how much boost r u running and what times and what trap speeds in what car i have a b20 in a ek hatch full interior and im going to be turbo soon i just have some other things to take care of first then i will be turbo but i would just like to know the times and traps and let me know if u were running street tires or slicks thanks
every setup will have variations from et's and trap speeds, also "setup", boost and driver dependant.

i have a turbo b20z, it's in a 92 si hatch, with power doors and full interior, ran a 12.93@104 today on 24.5 m&h slicks.........no mangement, just stock ls computer and fmu...........i was pretty impressed.........

b20z is the weakest honda block. They dont hold up well under boost...unless you sleeve it. I highly recommend you sleeve the block.
They are fast setups tho, my friend ran a 12.6 @ 112 @ 10psi (with BABY slicks) with a b20/vtec setup in a full weight coupe.

did that motor make any kinda wierd noises when that happened?? did it still run, cause i ran a 12.93 at 104 with my stock b20, no vtec, but before i got to the track, i was playin on the freeway and it started making what seems to be a valve tick, but it runs fine, and upon investigation with a stethescope seems to be bottom end noise??? any ideas?
was the "tick" at high load? if it is and it was from the bottom end it might be, dum Dum DUM!!! DETONATION! Does your set-up have a knock sensor? I'd rig one up if it doesn't...are you running full ignition advance?

no the tick wasn't at high load, the car has been running fine, it just started yesterday on the way to the track, and it's not detonation, no way in hell.......it's like a rod, we've been tryin to diagnose it all day and we have it narrowed down to the number 3 piston/rod.......we think it might actually be a wristpin noise. wich is kinda odd, but i won't know for sure until i actually tear into the motor.....and just fyi i'm running 7 degrees advance, and 10lbs, with a 12to1 fmu and a fpr thats turned quite a ways up......
thats not bad at all, thats what i wanted to do with my motor, but it seems my build up is going to come a little sooner than expected, what tranny was that with?? i only hit 104 but ran a 12.93 on a stock b20z with a ls manifold.....and stock inj. and computer, but i am running a hybrid ls trans with r diff and final drive
