Default idle probs with type r intake mani and gude tbody

i just put a type r intake mani and gude tbody on my car and now my idles surges from like a grand to 2700 or so, all the sensors i took of my si motor and they worked fine, i double checked everything and i cant find any leaks, so i have no clue at this point

sounds like a vacuum leak.. did you use new gaskets?

if its not a vacuum leak it could be the iacv

i figured it out guys, thanks, the new tbody had a fit valve and the old one didnt,. and the throttle body gasket didnt go the whole way down to the bottom to cover the fit valve opening in the throttle body, damnit, stock tbody back on for now
