My car is taking in water.
When it rains , or I wash my car , the floor mat gets wet. More specifically , by my feet on the drivers side. The seatbelt on the drivers side also gets wet. I took off the interior parts covering the seatbelt , and found that the bag that covers the seatbelt mechanism was filled with water.
I have checked the draintubes for the sunroof , and they are okay (the ones in the rear was plugged with dirt , but cleaning them didnīt fix the problem).
Does anyone have any suggestions where the water may be coming from ? Keep in mind that the water only seems to end up by the drivers feet.

my drivers left foot gets wet too. I noticed that water came in through the outside fresh air grill near the wipers. I put a hose on it and it ended up filling my coin tray! I'm going to investigate how that happens. I did have my windshield replaced.. maybe that has something to do with it?
your floors are probably corroded to **** and have holes in them, that's all I can think of if it rains. Not sure when u wash your car though, the only thing that can do that is when your drainage holes are clogged up but u said u checked that so im not sure other than the first point I brought forward.
