Default is the d16y8 a good motor for a turbo?

i think i can get the full swap for pretty cheap. jw if its worth boosting in a rex. or is there a better or cheaper motor that i should get? the d16y8 is out of the EK civic ex.

Boost+Cheap=D16Y8

Yes it can be a great motor for boost. How much do you want to boost?
