Your going to have to crank it down to about -42 across. It might even run a little rich that way. Depends on your elavation also. A little richer if you are in the highlands.

Your running it at -42 with boost? How much boost are you running? Under 4 or what? I have mine set at about -34 at full throttle across. Maybe your elavation is a bit higher than mine?

I HAD>>> i d15b2 with SI FI, and homemade turbo running 9 psi, running custom turbo ecu chip, and 450 dsm and inline pump with base fuel pressure at 38, and it was -40 to -38-9k ran sweet..

What should i run the vafc at for all motor b20b ..... with the 450 dsm's and inline and base fuel at 38. Also im running it at -40 across narr and wide right now and running fine.. just get a lobe like idle ..and vac gauge is going 18-21 with the lobe idle...? should do this.. with stock cams ..right ?

Try -42 all the way across. Subtract more if you're bogging or puffing black smoke out.

If you still have probs, I'd swap that inline with an intank. HTH

Put it on a dyno before you wash your rings out.

If it helps, I run a d16a6 with the filetofit circuit (much like the VAFC) and run 450cc injectors N/A. I initially got the lumpy idle due to running lean at idle, turned up the fuel with the controller to make it to the stioch area on my a/f guage and I could actually feel the idle getting better when adjusting with the a/f guage read out.

My car runs better with these injectors compaired to stock and idles stock also. Took about 15 minutes of tuning to get the car running perfect from when I installed it.

Not a VAFC, but all you really need to do is tune it in yourself and it wouldn't hurt to have an A/F gauge to tune by. By the way, I left my fuel pressure stock and it works out fine. I don't run any richer than I did with the stock injectors.

at the time i couldnt find anyone that had any. i did a head swap.. so now its a 2.3 vtec.. (2.3block with the 2.2vtec head) and just wanted to see if the dsm with the vafc hack would work.. i got the 99 gsx injectors (450cc black tops) and with the vafc could lower the fuel rate (im guessing )

my response was actually directed at the orig post, not yours. sorry

stock injectors really aren't hard to find, and can be had pretty cheap. ****, some people would probably trade you for the DSM's if you could afford the down time for shipping....
