I got a 97 GSR w/ just IHE and drop.. that is all i done to it.. about six months ago.. i got rear ended.. it wasn't something big but it left a lil scatch on the bumper.. that night both my tail lights and inside wouldn't turn on.. next morning.. i change the fuse but when i turn on the light.. the fuse would blow.. i replace 3 fuses and relize that one of the wire must be expose or something.. couldn't find anything out of place.. maybe i need to look harder.. after awhile.. the fuse stop burning out of me and the tail lights came on but inside light wouldnt' come on.. anybody know what is wrong?

 

i've being though so much of those by changing my tail light back and fourth and my instumental lights always go out and all my gauge will die too, i change the fuses, but it kept on dying, so i change all the light bulbs in my taillights, brake, signal and backup lights, then somehow it end up working again, everything seems fine, and plus i took out the light bulbs on the taillights, they seem fine but i change it anyway! but it works though, you should gave it a try!. hope that help cause that was my problem.

 

Hmm just a guess but you check the wires for the license plate light and maybe it has a cut that's grounding to the frame of your body? If your fuse blows...something is shorted...
