Skunk 2 intake manifold question?

Skunk 2 intake manifold question?
After my buddy installed my skunk2 intake manifold, the throttle cable sticks up, therefore I can't put on a strut bar. What items do I need to replace my gsr throttle cable, so that I can put a strut bar on.
Also my car didn't come with a stock strut bar or w/ the screw that holds it down. Do I need the screw for the strut bar even though I don't have a stock strut bar?

Ok. before when you had old manifold...it went down so the cable had to be long and big. now that manifold is stright cable will stick up so you can put strut on.
get type r cable like it was said above.

i'm also still using my GSR throttle cable braket. although i modified mine to aim strait instead of up. heres a pic.
you can sorta see the spot where i had cut a section out of the braket and bent it down and welded it.

yea it was. That's an old picture. I fixed the ground wire and the Breather filter is gone as well.

hey skunk2nr, did you get a non GSR throttle body pulley for your install as well? i'm waiting to find one of these before i put my IM on.

Nope. I used all my stock GS-R parts.

not a terrific image, but i got the itr throttle cable, itr throttle cable bracket, and a non gsr throttle body pulley.

Instead of ordering a throttle pulley - just order an ITR throttle body thatll match your Skunk2 IM perfectly

Since we are talking about the manifold i just wanted to let everyone know that Group A now has the Carb stickers for the manifold. They sent me mine last week. If you send them a proof of purchase they will send you the sticker. Ill snap a few pics later if anyone is interested. Just a little FYI

Ive searched but cant find the answer to this.. 1st off , i have a 99 Civic Si. If i buy the Skunk 2 manifold and throw it on the B16 will i need anything like brackets ect? Also, will the Skunk 2 mani from the b16 work on the GSR? What will i need putting in a Skunk2 manifold on a GSR thats in my Si? From what i have seen, its not just a bolt on and done. But brackets are needed for some applications. Just wanna make sure. Im thinkin i can use my Si **** for the manifold.
For example, when would you need to use ITR brackets, or in what case couldnt you use a strut bar. that kinda stuff.
